Jason & Amber suggest a few different accomodation options for their guests! Unfortunately all the room blocks that were reserved have sold out, so you'll have to go through the front door... Guests are strongly encouraged to book their accomodations as soon as possible! Mid-August is peak season for San Diego / Del Mar, in addition to it being the middle of the horse racing season at the Del Mar Race Track, so prices are ever increasing!
Option 1: Hotel Indigo Del Mar

A small block of rooms have been reserved at the Hotel Indigo Del Mar (note: the room block is now full!). This hotel will also be serving as the meeting place for the arranged transportation to the wedding venue.
The Hotel Indigo Del Mar is best described as a renovated beach motel within walking distance to downtown Del Mar where the couple also anticipates hosting the Sunday Brunch. This is a great choice for those guests who anticipate going out in Del Mar after the reception ends (10:30 pm).

Option 2: Rancho Valencia

Rancho Valencia, also the wedding venue, is a 5 star luxury resort located about 10 miles inland from Del Mar. It was also just recently rated #61of the top 100 hotels in the world by Conde Naste. The property has just 46 rooms.
This hotel is a great choice for those guests looking to turn their visit to San Diego into a luxury getaway (and who do not anticipate going out for drinks after the reception).
Rooms here a bit pricier, and the hotel is offering a 20% discount to guests. To book please call the hotel and ask for the Rutherford-Powers Wedding room rate.
Option 3: Del Mar Area Vacation Rentals
For those guests looking for an alternative to the hotel experience and in some cases, better value, we strongly suggest checking out the vacation rental market on either www.vrbo.com or www.homeaway.com.
There are many great properties available in the area, from small 1 - 2 bedroom cottages to beautiful luxury estates with 5+ bedrooms that could be shared by families or a collection of guests.
For those looking to choose this route, we strongly encourage making your reservations early as the best properties will book up fast given that the wedding is mid-summer and right in the middle of race season at the Del Mar Race Track.
Option 4: Other Area Hotels
There are many more hotels in the area as well. Feel free to stay anywhere that fits your budget, but please do keep in mind the locations of all of our events have been chosen to make things as convenient as possible if you're staying in or very close to the Downtown Del Mar area!
