TRANSPORTATION
To San Diego
Easiest way to get to San Diego / Del Mar for our out of town guests is to fly into San Diego International Airport (airport code: SAN) which is about 20 miles South of Del Mar. Car rentals are reasonably cheap if you reserve in advance, or you can take a Lyft, Uber, or taxi.
If you are deal hunting on flights, you can also try John Wayne Airport in Orange County (airport code: SNA), which is located about 70 miles North of Del Mar. If you go this route, you'll probably want to rent a car.
To The Rehearsal
If you're staying in downtown Del Mar, the Rehearsal "Dinner" location should be conveniently located very close by (once we determine exaclty where it will be held) so you can probably either walk or take a Lyft / Uber / taxi to get there.
If you're staying at Rancho Valencia, we encourage you to carpool (with a designated driver!) or share a Lyft / Uber / taxi with others staying at the resort.
To The Wedding
TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED!
For those guests not staying at Rancho Valencia, we have arranged for 2 large charter busses to transport our guests to and from the Ceremony & Reception .
GOING
RETURNING
Both Charter busses will be leaving promptly at 4:30 p.m. from in front of the Hotel Indigo in Del Mar, CA
(710 Camino Del Mar, Del Mar, CA)
If you plan to take the bus, we encourage you to head early to Hotel Indigo's lobby bar for a drink. The drivers will make an announcement when the busses are about to leave.
One bus will begin shuttling people back to Hotel Indigo in Del Mar starting at 9:30 pm.
The round trip takes approximately 30 - 35 minutes, and an announcement will be made each time the bus arrives for those who wish to say their farewells!
